Fees and insurance
Consultation fees
| New consultation | £250 |
| Follow-up consultation | £150 |
Fees may vary slightly by hospital. Scans, X-rays and other tests are charged separately by the hospital and you’ll be advised of the cost before they’re arranged.
Insured patients
I’m recognised by all major UK health insurers, including:
- Bupa (fee assured)
- AXA Health
- Aviva
- Vitality
- WPA
- Cigna
- Healix Health Services
Before your first appointment, please contact your insurer to obtain an authorisation code. Some insurers need a referral letter from your GP.
Please check your policy for any excess or outpatient limits.
Paying for yourself
If you are paying for your own treatment, each hospital offers fixed-price surgery packages. These typically include the operation, surgeon and anaesthetist fees, your hospital stay and follow-up care (including any physiotherapy). You’ll receive a written quotation after your consultation, before you commit to anything.
You don’t need a GP referral to book a self-pay consultation.
Fee transparency
Information about my fees and practice is published on the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN).
